  • STAR OF THE WEEK - 2022
    Beginning the week of January 18, we will have a Star Student of the Week. Each child will bring home a Star Student paper to complete the weekend before their week. If you choose, you may make a ½ size poster of photos/pictures/drawings of things about themselves OR you can create a google slide or powerpoint with pictures that your child can speak to from the screen in class.

    Kindergarten Snapshot: Readings/Phonics: We'll be continuing with blends and reading comprehension worksheets. Our Reading Streets this week will be pgs 36-45; story is Fox Can Fix It!. We will be reading the story Abuela which is a story about a little girl and her grandmother getting a bird's eye view of New York City. We will be working with Mrs. Ortolani for a technology project. Our writing will also tie into our story by having the students visit a zoo and choosing three animals they see on their adventure. Math: Next week we will continue with counting, ordering, and comparing numbers 11-20. Religion: We will continue to talk about Lent and Chapter 16--God the Father Gives us Jesus.
