Parents,
Beginning the week of January 18, we will have a Star Student of the Week. Each child will bring home a Star Student paper to complete the weekend before their week. If you choose, you may make a ½ size poster of photos/pictures/drawings of things about themselves OR you can create a google slide or powerpoint with pictures that your child can speak to from the screen in class.
Due to Covid, we cannot have siblings or visitors in for a read share or bring in food treats, however, you can make a video of someone reading and we can show it sometime that week. Your child can also choose a book for them to read to the class or for me to read aloud. An easy craft project can also be chosen to go along with the book (please check with me first). Students will also have a chance to show off their favorite stuffed animal, trophy, or prized possession.
Below is the Star Student of the Week schedule for both classes. This schedule will be on the website under “Kindergarten Notes”
Thank you,
Lori and Mary Cate
