Mr. Alex Schmauk

A native to Montgomery County, PA, Mr. Alex Schmauk is the band director at Saint Luke School in Glenside. He is also the founder and conductor of the Jenkintown Community Band, a year round ensemble for advanced high school students and adults. Over the last two years, Mr. Schmauk conducted the Archdiocesan Honor Band, a concert band comprised of the top instrumentalists in the Philadelphia Archdiocese.

Alex Schmauk holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, MD, and a Master’s Degree in Trumpet Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA.
