Mrs. Constance "Connie" Orkin is a Glenside resident and proud product of the Philadelphia Archdiocese, attending St. Cecilia’s School in Fox Chase, and graduating from Cardinal Dougherty HS in 2004. Mrs. Orkin obtained a Crime, Law, and Justice Major and Human Development & Family Studies Minor from Penn State, as well as a Master of Education from Cabrini.
Transitioning from over a dozen years in social services, she will be teaching 5th (Math/ELA) and 6th (ELA) Grades. Connie shared that her goal for this year is to be a consistent, kind, cool, impactful and empowering teacher. She hopes her students shine bright, and leave this school year smarter, stronger, more spiritual and a little bit sillier than they started it.
When she's not teaching, Mrs. Orkin enjoys spending time with her husband, Steve, and two daughters, Lily and Cece, being at the beach, decorating for every holiday, coaching softball at GYAC and soccer at Hunter, taking care of her plants, cleaning her house, getting Greek food from Elia and listening to podcasts.
